I'm sorry to hear that. I feel translations iis one of the few areas that AI has an actual value. Compared to Google translate all the new tools are so much better - but I do feel that human oversight should be a must. I wouldn't trust a completely automated translation
The irony is, we were already doing what’s called “post-machine translation editing” meaning we let the machines do the heavy lifting and cleaned up wherever they completely missed the mark. So I guess companies have decided to do without this important phase of the process. Good luck with that!
Great points, but AI did actually gobble up my day job, which was technical translation. Looks like I’m going to have to rely on music for a living! 🤘
